Aloha, everybody, In my 30 Teams, 30 Players posts, I featured some of the player autographs I received from my long-ago quest for TTM autos. Let's take a look at the remaining players in my collection. It's a chance to see a few of the other guys in my PCs (who aren't Dodgers). Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, Amber Ale sounds good. Adding coconut should make it better. Four Sons Brewing, outta Huntington Beach, CA tried it. Was it successful?Find out in my review! Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, Here's the third installment of the monoprints and mixed media series. Eventually, I'll be launching an art website for viewing these (and more works). You'll be able to see more still photos and close ups. Just as all of my baseball cards are available for trade, all of my artwork is available for sale. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy these pieces. Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, Here it is - the Dodgers' big off-season move: grabbing A.J. Pollock. Was dropping Yasiel Puig for Pollock worth it? That's not really the right question. Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, Let's take a jump back and review some vintage albums from new wave/rock guitarist, Dave Edmunds and ex-Rolling Stones axeman, Mick Taylor. Taylor's guitar play opposite Keith Richards produced some of my all-time favorite Stones albums. I love the spacey blues with a Santana vibe that he brought. Here's a look at the solo album he released three years after leaving the band. Do you remember "Crawling from the Wreckage (and into a brand new caaarrrrr."? There's a lot more than that to enjoy in Dave Edmunds' solo effort. Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, Yesterday's post featured my American League picks for the 30 Teams, 30 Players Blog Bat - A- Round. Submitted for your approval, here are my National League picks. Let's check 'em out. Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, I love this Blog Bat -Around idea: 30 Teams, 30 Players. I read the original idea was to feature the first player who comes to mind for each team, but Fair Warning! I'm going to take that idea and riff offa that in my own way. Enjoy and Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, The Rams did it! Los Angeles return to the Super Bowl! Let's celebrate (or grieve, or meh!) with this quickie beer review of Dr. Lupulin Triple IPA from Revision Brewing outta Sparks, Nevada. Enjoy. Go Rams and Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, It's been a while, so I dropped a new beer review. This time it's a limited release - Windsor Porter Batch 1 from Russian River Brewing. Is it as good as one would expect? Here's my review. Aloha!
Aloha, everyone, Let's check out a couple of albums I picked out of the used vinyl bin. The first is from a most popular roots-rockabilly band with roots in the 80's that is still rockin' the dance halls today. The second is Gregg Allman's live double LP, recorded in Carnegie Hall, with backing from a 24-piece orchestra. A cool find, indeed. Aloha!
Aloha, everybody, Thanks for the great response to my first video in which I showcased my artwork. I return here with a few more prints and mixed media pieces on handmade paper. Please enjoy Part 2 of the series. Aloha!
Elite collector, Mark H, tipped me off to this beautiful baseball memorabilia resource: The Robert Edward Auction catalog.
This is a high gloss, educational, coffee table-worthy resource book featuring countless baseball cards and assorted memorabilia. Great visuals and reading material for any collector.
Aloha, everybody, Elite collector, Mark H. sent surprise packages around the hobby recently, and I was lucky enough to be included in that group. Check out my video below as I show off the absolutely beautiful Dodgers that came from Topps wax packs four and five decades ago. THANKS, Mark! P.S. Please remember to "Like" and Subscribe to my YouTube channel, NetChucArts, for more collecting, art, beer, vinyl, and assorted topic videos. Aloha!
Happy 2019! I've got a few bits of news to drop on you all, and the first order of business is this new YouTube video showing off the holiday cardboard goodies that I received from my long-time trading partner, Dennis, over at Too Many Verlanders. Hope you'll check it out.
I also hope that you'll continue to check out the content on my NEW YouTube channel - NetChucArts. This ATBATT video is its inaugural upload.
I created the new channel because I'll be expanding the vaiety and amount of YouTube content I'll be creating in 2019. I'll still be creating Dodgers news and opinion videos, but those will remain on the LA Dodger Report channel.
I'll be filling NetChucArts, my new YouTube channel, with content about our card collecting hobby, as well as beer reviews, my quest to rebuild my vinyl records collection, and whatever else should strike me as video-worthy.
In addition, I'll also be showcasing my art work on the new channel. A couple of you know that I'm an artist, so I look forward to you joining me on YouTube as I share my creations. Perhaps we'll shift those shares into the next level as you bring some of my original art into your own homes.
That's all to come as 2019 unfolds. Please enjoy my first upload and take a few seconds to Like and Subscribe to my new channel.
