What Dodgers Stadium Looked Like at Noon Today

hey everybody - today was an awesome lunchtime.  my buddy took us to my church, Dodgers Stadium, and gave us a quick tour around.  I didn't have my camera, so we have to settle for the  lousy pics from his phone camera.  we're supposed to go back in a couple weeks and eat lunch IN THE PRESS BOX !!!
I'll be sure to bring my camera and take lots of pics for the ATBATT readers.

We did go in the press box today - which was awesome.  I wonder if 2011 super blogger of the year has been in other stadium pressboxes ?  i could almost hear the old time typewriters from the press corps reporting on a sunday day game from long ago, with don sutton mowin' em down.

here's a couple of shots from my awesome friday lunch ...

my first time in the Stadium for 2012.   it was super- cool !!

we went in the press corp cafeteria. it was full of great old time photos.
here's walt alston givin some advice to the boys

here's where we entered

this is the original relief pitcher's cart that used to bring in pitchers from the outfield dugouts back in the day.  the 2 bats supporting the top are actual bats from jackie robinson (left) and pee wee reese (right) !  i got a photo with me inside.  it only seems to load in a horizontal, and i cant seem to figure out how to correct it, so here it is in all it's horizontal glory....

what a way to spend friday lunch !!! and before spring break !!!! yehhhh !!!

  3. Great stuff!

I've been in baseball press boxes in Montreal, Baltimore and St. Louis. But I was working only in one of them.
