This is Commissioner Manfred's "Mountain" Landis Moment

Aloha, everyone,

100 years ago, "Mountain" Landis banned the Black Sox for life when they cheated in the World Series. This is MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred's once-in-a-lifetime moment. He holds the power to be just as puntative on the Cheating Astros.

Will he be a "Mountain" or a molehill?

Aloha, everybody,

The Cheatin' Astros' scandal has caused me to step back and re-evaluate some of my opinions about the Dodgers

Aloha!

Julio Urias Arrested - but That's Not The Dodgers' Biggest Problem

Aloha, everybody,

LA Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias was arrested for domestic violence. That would be bad enough, but this is not an isolated case. This is, unfortunately, the latest and most public in a line of ugly incidents involving young Dodger players.

Am I the Only One Worried When Kenley Jansen Pitches?

Aloha, everybody,

Has anyone else noticed Kenley Jansen isn't exactly the dominant pitcher we thought we were getting when he signed that mega-money contract?

He's barely pretty good, and frankly, he worries me when he takes the mound with a slim lead.

Bonus: Let's look at the Jackie Robinson Night fan jersey.

LA Dodger Report: The Monster Lives! Jeckyll-Hyde Dodgers Return

Aloha, everybody,

For the third year in a row, the Dodgers have a maddening double-personality. They have two extremes - Sometimes they're the steamroller and sometimes they're the steamrolled. Which are they really?

First Dodgers Report Card 2019

Aloha, everybody,

I've been quiet for a couple weeks - unfortunately, some personal things got in the way of mindless videos and fun.

I've finally got some time, so after one homestand and one travel series, let's break down the Dodgers and give my first report card of the Dodgers for 2019.

Enjoy and Aloha!

Rich Hill Deserves to Pitch Opening Day. The Dodgers Owe Him

Aloha, everybody,

With Clayton Kershaw out, the Dodgers have announced Hyun-Jin Ryu is the front-runner to pitch on Opening Day. They couldn't be more wrong.

Dick Mountain deserves that ball - the Dodgers owe it to him.

Aloha!

Yasiel Puig Badmouths Dodgers - Puig Fans Taking Sides

Aloha, everybody,

Yasiel Puig is saying some harsh things about the Dodgers. Puig fans are caught in the middle and taking sides.

Aloha!

The Militarization of Sports - Patriotism or Cashing In on War?

Aloha, everybody,

An article was published a few days ago about a couple of veterans who are speaking out against the militarization of sports and the commercializing that is coming along with that.

The state of perpetual war that we find ourselves in and this exploiting of veterans for profit is a topic that strikes close to my personal values, so I fired up the ol' video camera and delivered a few takes of my own.

Give a watch and don't forget to give a "Like" on the Youtube channel. Much appreciated.

Here's the original article: http://www.wbur.org/onlyagame/2018/07/20/military-sports-astore-francona
